NocturneBox Privacy Policy

NocturneBox is an offline music player and local audio library. This Privacy Policy explains how the app handles information when you import, organize, and play local audio files.
Information We Collect
NocturneBox does not require an account and does not upload your imported audio files to our servers.
The app may store the following information locally on your device:
- Audio files you choose to import into the app.
- Local library metadata, such as file name, duration, favorite status, and import date.
- Playback-related preferences, such as saved library state.
Local Audio Files
Audio files imported into NocturneBox are copied into the app's local storage on your device. These files remain on your device unless you delete them from the app or remove the app.
Permissions
NocturneBox may request access to certain iOS permissions depending on the features or system picker components used:
- Media / Apple Music: Used to import audio files you choose and store them for offline playback.
- Photo Library: May be requested by system media picker components if photo or video sources are opened.
- Camera: May be requested by media picker components that include camera capture features.
- Location While In Use: May be requested by media picker components when captured media includes location metadata.
- Tracking Permission: May be requested to support advertising measurement and more relevant ads.
Advertising and Tracking
NocturneBox may request permission under Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework. If you grant permission, advertising identifiers may be used for ad measurement, attribution, fraud prevention, and more relevant advertising. If you deny permission, the app will respect your choice.
If advertising SDKs are integrated in future versions, those partners may process limited device or advertising data according to their own privacy practices and Apple's policies.
Data Sharing
We do not sell your imported audio files. NocturneBox does not upload your local audio library to cloud servers.
Advertising and analytics partners, if enabled in future versions, may receive limited technical or advertising-related data for ad delivery, measurement, and attribution.
Data Retention
Imported audio files and local library metadata remain on your device until you delete them from the app or uninstall NocturneBox.
Children's Privacy
NocturneBox is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, please contact us.
Your Choices
- You can delete imported tracks inside the app.
- You can remove all local app data by uninstalling the app.
- You can manage tracking permission in iOS Settings.
- You can manage photo, camera, location, and media permissions in iOS Settings.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
